Hey yawl. You may remember a few months ago that i had passed my CDL driving test and was about to start a career as a truck driver. Well after what seems like hundreds of job applications, phone calls and emails, three months after obtaining my license i am still no closer to earning a dollar behind the wheel of a truck as i was before i got the license.

So once again I have come to a fork in the road and decided to change direction. After meeting up with an employer who i worked for some 12 years ago. He has offered me a job and i have taken him up on his offer. So as of tomorrow I will be selling cars again. Anyone interested in a Jaguar, Land Rover/Range Rover or a Porsche. Then I'm your man. I'll be working at New Jaguars so give me a call or stop by and see me and i'll find you a very nice ride.

The trucking industry is really slow now. We've closed up the oversize load escort business for now because there is no way to break even. At least, in the high end car business, you'll have all the bankers and such spending their bailout money.

What ever you do dont let that CDL get expire, I did mine years ago, and when I start driving again they had changed so many laws I didnt think I was ever gonna pass the darn test. I do short haul, instate and I have been running 2 loads a day up to 6 days a week, so most certainly not slowed done here.

Oh the other note, congrat's on the job......

Oh now Ed, that won't happen. Why just recently the CEO of Goldman told his employees to not spend their bailout-sponsored bonuses on flashy or excessive items so as to not raise the public ire....

I've always preferred the "drive right between the legs of the fork and up the middle" myself Bill!

Congrats Mark, now if you'll kindly send the X-type wagon round to the premises... (see, I'm not greedy like the rest of these goons, wanting a XK and such!)
