Glad you posted this. It's the first time I've actually heard the bike.
But, I need to stop reading these TBird threads - I'm starting to get the "I wanta's".

Hey, there's my good buddy Jim C.!!
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Well John that was pretty cool watching Leno critique the new TBird. Thanks for the link... ummmm I thought that was a very shining review from a rather influential man, not just on the topic of the Thunderbird but Triumph in general.
It was nice to hear what it sounded like. Actually I heard that one in Nelson at the Raid as it pulled in on the first day. Predictably quiet... yet you could hear that the thing could growl if you let it. Also in the video we got to hear the horn. Ahhh yes... it is a huge improvement from the roadrunner mbeeb beeb of our and many other bikes. Yet it's mono tone lacked the distortion of disharmonious twin notes... something which would better match the brawn of this bike.
Otherwise I learned more about the dash which I found interesting, although all the electronics amassed in the TBird do scare me. I'm a great advocate of the K.I.S.S. philosophy and accept it as one of life's many secrets, so.....
But I enjoyed the post and learned a bit ta boot. How can you got wrong with that.
Live to love, love to live.
