Maybe this is an easy fix but does anyone have a remedy to my stock throttle grip sticking open? Was going to take off end cap can give it some WD40 treatment. Any other suggestions?

my throttle was sticking too. since my bike was still under warranty, i took it to the dealer. they said the grip actually grew. i guess expanded due to heat. they replaced the grip and now it works great.

Usually all you need to do is to loosen the two allen screws on the throttle assembly and retighten them again but not as tight. Very common easy fix.

make sure it isn't binding against the end cap too.

Loosen the bit that clamps to the handlebar and scoot it a little to the left, that fixes this most of the time. If that doesn't do it, make sure the cables aren't pinched under the tank. These bikes are shipped partly knocked down and the dealer mounts the handlebars during setup. There is a chance the cables were misrouted or twisted.
