Hello my friends, i write from italy (florence), i am looking for some photo about one speedmaster/america with chrome tank!!! i am sure someone have post some photos about it, but now we can't go inside photo post....i'm thinking to make some new paint to my speedmaster and i'll like to see again the photos...thank to everybody saluti a tutti

Just a note on painting chrome. I didn't post anything on the original site, but now it came to me. I don't know what this painter did to make the paint stick to the chrome, but here was my solution. When I built my old trumpet, I wanted the center of the rims painted to match my paint, like they had on some bikes in the late 50s. I taped the rims off, and sandblasted the part I wanted painted. This left the chrome area dull, but smooth. I painted the sandblasted area red, and 13 years later, the paint is still sticking fine!

On a sunny day you may blind yourself and everyone around you....You better buy extra dark sunglasses if you do decide to chrome the tank...

I remember my Dad showing me pictures of a buddy's car from the 40's. The entire car had been chromed - he was ultimately banned from driving it (safety hazard).
