I watched a movie on Foxtel last night called December Boys.It was a fairly low budget movie made in South Australia, The featured actor was Daniel Radcliff of Harry Potter fame. The movie was set in late 50's/60's I think. The thing that gets our attention is that the motorcycle featured in the movie is a Triumph America! Strange choice I thought to represent that era. The things the rider does with it on the beach made me shudder!
So if you want to see our bikes in action in a movie check it out.Nice coastal scenery too from around my backyard.

Well now, that was a d&mn fine film sir, and I thank you for telling us about it. I managed to download it, watched it tonight and was really impressed. It has a strong human element to it... real life sort of feel and I think every viewer could easily put him/herself into one of more of the characters. The cinematography was at times breathtaking... sound track really supported the plot and the acting was top notch. As you pointed out Chris, the only odd thing was that they used a modern Triumph in a film depicting the 50/60s. Was really strange when he hit the start button. And I had a hard time watching as he rode that bike where it really should not go. Other than that I thought the film was superb and could easily win something at the Cannes or Toronto film festival.

I've always liked Australian films. TWO THUMBS UP!!

Agreed.I ended up watching it twice.I would have thought to use a Bonny Black! Nice to see our bike used though.I Pity whoever buys the bike after that!

Fantastic... but yeah, I was thinking they coulda used a T100 and taken care not to reveal the brake reservoir on the bars or the disk on the front. And no push button start.
