When I test-rode the Thunderbird I didn't buy I fell in love with the mirrors on it - very sharp-looking and awesome field of view - so I had the dealer order me a set for the America. I put 150 miles on the bike today with them and can't be happier - they really work wonderfully and are a helluvan upgrade from the little plastic circles that came with the bike! I'll try to get some pictures on here for everyone!

All I remember was seeing my shoulders in the mirrors when I test-rode the Thunderbird. Hope I remember wrong, have too wide shouders or just didn´t adjust the mirrors enough/at all??
They do look nice, way better than SM/TBA stock mirrors.

The Thunderbird mirrors just look like the factory drilled teardrop mirrors that have been available for a year or more. Am I missing something?

They look pretty much like the V-Max mirrors a lot of us use too. Most of the metric mirrors will screw right on our stock BA/SM stems. Now people don't sing "lolly-Pop, Lolly-Pop, oh Lolly Lolly Pop" when they see my bike.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Except you can actually see behind you with the V-Max mirrors.
