Back in March I hit a deer with my bike and wiped myself and my bike out. I've been mending well and workin on the bike a little all along. Rode a few times on my backup bike but it just ain't the same as my America. Finaly got most of my parts in and got the chance today to do some wrenchin and took my first ride on her since March. Man was it great to get back on the road on my Triumph. I still have plenty to do before she is fully restored, but it is sure encouraging to be able to taker her out for a spin. I put about 60 mile on her around the neighborhood. Man that bike runs good. I plan on posting all the before, during and after pics when I've gotten a little more done. But its just great to take her down the road once again.
Its more fun to be ridin'! I'm still ridin

Hit a deer... probably my greatest fear. Good to hear you are back and btw... good on ya mate for a spirited recovery.
You know, back about 3 years ago a beautiful young woman... a friend of my niece's was run over by a drunk driver. She was rendered clinically dead and her head was squashed like a crushed watermelon. I just saw her tonight at the BBQ I attended. And?
She is back... still recovering but in such a good space. I talked to her about life stuff and towards the end of the conversation she said to me... "don't sweat anything. Just live!" Well Hubert, your story inspires me much like her's does. Way to go!!!!
Live to love, love to live.
