Yup, everyone who owns a SM feels about the same way. There is just something about that distinctive British styling, the built like a tank workmanship and the riding on rails handling that you just don't get from other bikes.

Thanks for the compliments on the car !!! Just had it painted, and just gotta finish some small stuff. I will post finals pics when done.

My brother had a '66 GTO which looked very similar. It was a medium/dark blue green color. I got a car the next year which had to be able to out run him. I bought a '67 Sunbeam Tiger.

Haha! That's so true. Almost a day doesn't go by without someone saying "I(or 'my crazy friend') had one of those in college." The second sentence is often "Leaked oil and was always broken... great bike!"
