I bought a PAIR of shocks from a member and 5 (FIVE) weeks later he finally sent them. 1 (one) week later I received 1(ONE) shock o(Zero) bushings. I PM him, he called me back said he did not like the tone of my PM, and told me he sent both shocks and bushings. And to take it up with the US postal service. getting no where w/ us postal. I looking for suggestions on how to solve my problem. any help would be great. thx riders Scott

Was the package trashed? I've had good luck in the classifieds. I don't deal with brand new people, or ones that have a blank bio. This guy looks solid enough, though.

Scott, did he insure the package? If he did, and the local PO isn't being helpful, ask to see the Postmaster or Cust. Service Supervisor. Then ask that person for the number of the local (district) USPS Consumer Affairs office.
Unfortunately, if it wasn't insured, you're probably out of luck.

Thx all, I did not mention any names in my post. just looking for help, and know BA.com is not responsible. Shocks were not packaged well enough. Something I had no control over. Also I was not ugly with my post to seller, just very disappointed as anybody would be after waiting for 6 weeks. If they came right away I would not be as frustrated. I'll speak again to seller and see if we could come to a happy medium. thx again and any other ideas we be great.

Depending on how it was mailed, it may be insured up to $100 automatically (anything of greater value would require additional insurance to have been purchased). If the box was damaged and the parts fell out, take pictures of the box and document everything. I've had similar problems with deliveries in the past, and if insurance would not take care of it, something can usually be worked out with the seller if you remain calm and rational. I know your frustration, we have all been there at one time or another. Good luck and hope things work out for you!
Cheers, Brad
