Does anyone know what the value of a 1958 Model Twenty One Triumph would be? I ran into a guy that bought one that was part of a lot that included a couple old Harleys and he told me to come over and take a look at it and see if I would be interested. He is only interested in the Harleys. It is a 350cc bike with the bathtub bodywork. He said that it looks complete less the seat. I am thinking about taking a look at it. I really don't need any more projects but I think it might be a little on the rare side but I could be wrong. Any thoughts or ideas on what something like this would be worth? Unrestored / Restored? Here is a link to show what it should look like: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:1958_Triumph_Twenty_One_01.jpg

Yeah, not too many here in the states kept the original bathtub body, so they are pretty rare. Should be worth a good price restored, or even in good condition. If you can get it one the cheap, go for it! Never too many projects, IMO.
Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Sounds like it could end up being a pretty cool project. From what you've already said I'd love to hear you got it.

The 59 T-120s are more sought after and bring between 10-15K.
I figure that bike in really good condition would carry a value of 7500-10k.
The bathtub is rare, they are correct. That was the very first mod to be done in removing it. Kinda like us and the AI and Snorkels. Once off they were dented, rusted, thrown away etc.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

Same with the nacelle headlights from the 50s. They got pulled off and tossed and fenders got bobbed. those parts are tough to find and expensive when found. I need a complete 1954 T-110 nacelle with all the parts in it such as switches and speedo. They are making repop stuff now but that wouldn't be right.

I went to look at the bike yesterday and the guy sold it about 3 hours before I got there. I didn't even get to look at it. The guy came to look at it and didn't even haggle and handed over $800.00 so I would assume that I missed out on a good deal. The guy said it was really clean and the only thing that he could see that was missing was the seat.
