Got the parts from Fasteddy to change my clutch. Started going through the manual to see what this entailed. Also found a nice little guide here as well. Looks like a special tool is required to do this work. I know a lot of times you can work around "special" tools to get a job done. Has anybody done this without the tool? If so, what are the tricks? If not, does anybody have the tool I can borrow or rent from them? I would be happy to pay for shipping both ways. Any help is appreciated. I would really like to get this done.

Keith, send me your addy and I'll ship the "special tools" to ya.
You'll owe me a cold one though.

howdy and happy 4th of july!

now that the smiley part is over - does anyone remember where the detailed pics of the entire clutch re-install are located. i'm sorry for being obtuse but it's been a bad 7 months rounding into a multiply miserable weekend. lost the boat motor friday evening, and i think i lost the clutch tonight. anyone had any issues lately with rotella? my motor sounds like it's eating itself!!!
