this weekend I changed out my stock 05 s/m cams. I was measuring up the new cams for bearing clearences and measured the lobes as well. I then compared those numbers with my old cams. Big difference, 2 mm more lift.
From every thing I have read the 05 and later 865cc 270 cams they are pretty mild. Does any one have the cam lobe dimension for the stock 790cc 270 cams? THat would be measured cross the largest part of the cam lobe. THe 865 stock cam measures 1.386 inch.
05 speedmaster - 1100cc, 11:1 racing pistons, Carillo rods, thunderbike cams, ported and polished head, 2mm over intake and exhaust valves, Barnett kevlar clutch, scepter pipes, oversize manifolds, 45mm HSR's, TTP stage 4 firestarter
