I live on a very dangerous stretch of road and there seems to be at least 1 motorcycle accident each summer. These usually include a cager but not all the time. This particular crash is under investigation and I don't want to pass judgement until more facts come out but it doesn't look good for the women(81). His bike was in the middle of the insection. She had a stop sign and he didn't. Poor bugger is going to lose his right leg. Motorcycle Crash

I am so sorry to hear that. Locally it seems more people have been going down and suffering serious injuries.
Several local PGR/American Legion riders went down hard outside of Dallas in late May and both are still hospitalized in Dallas with critical injuries.
If you ride ....say goodbye and "I love You" to those close to you because you never know if this day will be your last.
Ours is a dangerous means of transport no matter how much fun it is.

Thanks for sharing that story with us all. It sounds like an avoidable crash but it's not my place to say. But it is tragic and not easy to accept.
Live to love, love to live.

It doesn't matter how good of a rider you are or how many miles you've ridden, you still can't control the cage coming at you! Ride like you have a target on your forehead...
Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come; He will guide you in all truth:

Even scarier are deer. At least with cagers you can anticipate them at intersections. Deer can come from ANYWHERE.
Ride safe guys.
