Has anyone tried the gel Triumph seat for the America out? It's a solo seat. Can you install the gel seat with the pillion intact?

Was it comfortable? Better than the stock seat?

Just bought one this week, not horribly different but does feel better. I think I'll experience less low-back pain after a long ride.

Seemed to be. I'm not to sure though. It went when my bike did. I didn't really have chance to do a real long distance ride on it, but round town was fine. stopped a lot of the vibrations going up my back.

I bought one a couple of months ago. Went on a weekend trip to Ark. It was awful. My butt started hurting after 30 minutes. It is definitely worse than my stock seat. I will be getting rid of it as soon as I get some money to modfiy the stock seat. See my post "Triumph Gel seat vs. custom seat". I can't say I wasn't warned.

Thanks everyone for your input! I really appreciate it! I also referred to the "Triumph gel saddle vs custom seat" thread. It seems like Corbin is one of the more popular options for Bonnie riders. Unfortunately Corbin seems to shine after 1,000 miles. In reality it's seems if you want comfort it's going to cost you some bucks - bummer! Also, no ****** is created equal. Whatever works...
