My son has just bought a 1988 Yamaha Dt 50 and I am looking for info on it. He's called the local dealer about getting a manual but because of the age he's SOL. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

I might have a manual that covers that, I had a DT 100 and a DT360 but older bikes. the 100 was a 77 and the 360 was 74 if I remember right. I would love another DT360, that bike was a blast. 2 stroke same as the DT 400 except a shorter stroke. I rode that bike on the highway and it kept up and passed traffic no problem and was a blast in the dirt too.

I did a quick search on e-bay and didn't come up with anything. How much difference is there between the DT and other models? Will another model work as far as manuals go, and misc. parts for that matter.

Ok I've tried surfing that site and it's not very user friendly to a slighttly buzzed guy on a friday nite. Switching back and forth between two languages is making my head spin more than usual.
