Does anyone have a good idea what I should ask or expect for a price? It's a 2003 w/ light bar, sissy bar / luggage rack, and touring passenger seat. All accessories are from Triumph. I'm the original owner, it has under 6000 miles. The bike is absolutely perfect. Not a scratch or nick. Black with silver. Thanks for any and all input!

Would you be interested in selling just the sissy bar/luggage rack?

I would say its worth 3500-4000. KBB is a dealer starting point. The low miles are a good thing. It is still a 6 year old bike though.

...and people are reluctant to buy "luxury items" in these hard economic times. I listed a 1941 Mack pickup on ebay for around 2/3rds it's value, and not a single bid was made. Forgive my pessimism, and I'm not saying don't ask 5k or best offer, for one can always go down in price. I'm just being a realist when it comes to expectations of price during a recession / depression.
Forgive me if this is obvious, but a place to sell bikes with a far reaching audience is http://www.cycletrader.com/

chief, consider removing and selling the accessories separately and putting the bike back to stock. It's not likely you'll get any extra value for them if left on the bike, unless a prospective buyer wants exactly those items.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I'm still on the fence about the sale, so at this point I'm not willing to part out the accessories. If I do make the decision to sell, you'll all be the first to know. Thanks again for the help. It certainly is a tough decision. Chief
