Yeah Grzegorz?! Well don't tell me you're gonna go grind off those suckers on those cyclinder barrels now too?!!!
The sprocket cover looks great, BTW!
(and yes, even I, "Mr. Fin" himself replaced my old "George Forman" cover with one of the newer covers off the lastest models about a year ago or so)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

gloss black for me will match other bits I've done already
I wrote in the other thread that those peg hangers were done by my mate ,they're stainless steel and never been around to polish them

I must have missed the post Re: hangers, sorry as for GLOSS.. would like a picture once done, I found gloss too shiny compared to the engine and man, it stood out... interested to see the final pictures..

Ahaaa see now you can get away with gloss as your running a chrome engine cover... mine was standard which made the sprocket cover too striking..
Looks good... mind you, at this rate everyone will have the fins off and coated and cut and no one will look different LOL

Finally the shape of the stock sprocket cover matchs roughly the convex shape of the side cover and stator cover. I think the latter needs to be gloss black, too.

It would look very nice.
I've been thinking about ditching the chrome on all those covers for a while now. Just can't decide whether to go semi-gloss black like my forks or color match the paint.
