07 Speedmaster, just got it a few hours ago. Do I have tool kit anywhere? Is the plug thing on the left side by the battery for a slow charge? What do you use to change the setting on the rear shocks? Are the tubes next to the spark plugs air injectors? Pipes are kinda blued by the heads, is that ok? It has 1,100 miles. Anyone know what the recomended service is? Many Thanks.

Check out the tech vault, it holds the answers to many of your questions. Probably no tool kit. An allen key in the little hole at the bottom on the shocks should work. Air injectors? Yes. Blue pipes are okay if you like them, but it's probably a little lean.
Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Blue pipes also come from the air injection (your assumption about the tubes is correct) There's info in the tech vault for making them go away, or check here: New Speedmaster Brent's a member of this forum and good people to deal with. So is Fast eddy: fasteddy

Hard to say on the plug, without a picture of it. My bike, also used, came with a battery tender lead. That could be the plug. This picture shows the plug. The black cord, with the keyed male/female is typically what hangs out of where it was installed. I just tuck mine back in under one of the carb cheese graters (fake air screen).

Welcome and congrats on your new Speedy!! Looks like the guys took good care of answering your questions. Only 1 that wasn't addressed is the service interval. 500 miles suppose to have an oil change and "once over" to make sure she's breaking in ok. Probably done by previous owner. Next service would be ~5000 miles. If the oil wasn't changed this year I would do that for the riding season. (I'm not starting an oil thread so you can find LOTS of those on here)
