Hi Gina, The '95 Trident is a tall bike and is it a 750 ? if it is then it will have a over square bore/stroke meaning more revs for your mph. Hope you get back on the road soon with what ever you get
My name is phil . . . I ride a TRIUMPH

The Trident came as a 750 or a 900....both 3 cylinder in-line watercooled motors. Get one that's been serviced and looked after and it'll go on forever. The triple exhaust note is beautiful as well !!!!

The U.S. never got the 750s, Gina. But, I have a '95 Sprint 900[actually 885cc] which is basically a Trident with a frame-mounted 3/4 fairing attached. The motor is smooth and full of torque, and as Steve said, they have a great exhaust note.
And, as Phil above said, they are a bit tall and subsequently are a bit top-heavy, and thus have a completely different feel in turns as compared to the BAs and Speedies.
The only thing that you really have to watch out for on these bikes are the sprag[starter] clutch. If somebody(like me, for instance) has let their battery lose most of its charge but continually attempts to start the bike, the little directional prongs on that sprag clutch wear down, and eventually won't catch, resulting in a free-wheeling starter unit and no engine starting. And unfortunately, unlike the second generation Triumph triples, the sprag clutch on the first modern Triumph triples(aka: the "T-300" series) are located inside the engine cases and thus its a pain to change that unit out.
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

And BTW...I too have my fingers crossed for ya to get your bike back from those lowlifes, so don't give up hope. In fact, if you remember me tellin' you in your "stolen bike" thread that I've had two motorcycles stolen over the years, but what I didn't tell ya was that while one was never found(a '78 Honda CX500), the second one(an '80 Yamaha XS1100 Special) WAS recovered after a couple of weeks and with very little damage or wear applied by those lowlifes! (...so keep a good thought goin' over there, young lady!)

I was looking at a 900 down in Chichester for £2995. Then I got told about this 750 (ok, minor error. I blame the recent stress.) for £2000 near the parents house. http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/bikesforsale/searchresults/detail/?R=NXGN-7522432&mfy=should work... or here's a pic

Gina that's one of the rarest of the New Triumphs. I say if it fits you, buy it. Color me green with envy, British Racing Green, that is.

Gina,
My crewmate is looking to sell his blue 56 plate 865 thruxton if you are interested.
Milage is around 4000, certainly not been in the rain, certainly not thrashed because most long runs have been done following my speedy.
Dunno what price he was looking at but just a thought.
Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"
