Ouch, that bites! Had my '67 Bonnie stolen back in '71. Lucily, me and a couple of mates (and a baseball bat) came across it 2 days later.

Hope you have the same luck.

This will be one hard bike to sell even if they break it down. Not many folk will have the knowledge about any mods to our bikes apart from people like ourselves.

Ray any chance of a few PMs to the Brits to adviose of any wee touches that would help us ID any speciality parts that Gina may have added. That way if any parts turn up locally we may be able to help out. Its not something that we should post as some of these low lifes do have computers albeit stolen.

I cannot decide whether to be a good example or a horrible warning ! Peace & respect http://www.tomcc.org/gg/ Eric

hiya all....

Devistated doesn't describe how I feel. I've spent most of the morning trying not to cry.

I'm on my pda at the mo, so pm'ing people is very long winded. I'll pm later at a computer.

That really s ucks! I had an enduro stolen when I was a kid so I know the feeling. If the cops there are like here you probably won't get it back through them. Hope a friend sees it before it gets parted.

she is a he.., he has quirks that only a bloke would have!!!

It was the 06 that's gone. if it'd been the 03, I'd be suicidal not just really upset.

Sorry to hear of you gettin' ripped off, Gina. That's ALWAYS a bummer. TWICE, back a few decades ago, I had this happen to me.

But hey, IF you get any leads as to the lowlife or lowlifes who might've done this, I NOW know of a dude who I hear can wield a pretty mean hammer on that little island o' yours over there, and who might just be up to "takin' care o' bidness" for ya on your behalf!!!

(and lucky YOU....the dude I'm speakin' of here just HAPPENS to be a fellow member of BA.com, and so gettin' hold of him SHOULD be a friggin' SNAP for ya!!!)

MORE DETAILS FOR ANYBODY I DID NOT PM IN THE UK TO KEEP AN EYE OPEN FOR IT

black with flame tank. console was painted black with glitter spray over the top, which was wearing off at the bottom. gel seat. oberon led indicators at the rear, and the number plate had to be just smaller than legal to be able see them (was gonna get spacers, just never got around to it.)back rack, no pillion, but the pegs still on, though the left one was broken off. on 07 hangers got from neill. light bar from Adie, that was going a little rusty, and had a TOMCC badge (in black naturally) on it. Had America mudguard and no retainers for the overpipe for the brake. orginal speedo loop. brent's union flag AI removal kit. one of the fuses - blue/turquoise one was a type that when it blew it lit up. the badges were purple, but only if you knew.
oh and twin discs and spokes....

thanks

(still bawling my eyes out.)

Thats tough Gina.Had a scooter stolen last year which really ****** us off.The thieves took the bike from my garage which was only 3metres away from where we were sleeping.Didn't hear a thing.
The only good was if it wasn't for that theft I wouldn't have my Trumpy now.
Hope you get it back.

Sorry to hear your bike got nicked Gina. I can't imagine how you must have felt when you first relised it was gone. I know though when I had a car of mine stolen how it made me feel but I reckon my bike would make me feel unconsolable.

BTW, I got a phone call from the cops about a week later telling me to pick it up. No damage, so hopefully you might get a similar call.

Chin up G even though this may seem hard right now.

Gina

Sorry to hear about your bike - I know just how you are feeling.

When my US bike was stolen in 2004, I would have been quite happy to kill the scum that took it, I even asked the cop who handled the theft if it could be classed as "justified homicide". I bloody hate thieves (I think that some middle-east countries have the right solution to that particular problem.)

Got your PM with the details - have you got a picture that you can send to all so that can go on the wall at shops etc?

Also, if your are a MAG member, let them know the details as they list stolen bikes in their newsletter.

Keep your fingers crossed that you get it back.
