Found this site which will provide a downloadable pdf copy of the manual.
Haynes Manual

I came across that a couple weeks ago. I couldn't get the free download to work, and their fee for "upgraded" downloading is too much. Also, isn't this in RAR format? Too bad someone doesn't just post it on a server without all the gimmicks (hint, hint).

Yes, I think it is RAR. I got it to work using depositfiles.com, and didn't have to join, but I had to wait a while for the free part to work(I'm no techno by a long shot).
It comes as a zipfile, and I opened it and have it stored as a pdf on my pc at work, and if I can figure out how I will post it on our site as a pdf file folder, so you can download the whole magilla and open it later. I'm workin' on it....Or, if some technophile (double hint) wanted to do this properly, I'll hold their coat while they git 'er done. It is an inherently beneficial tome.

I used depositfiles.com to download the file which worked fine. I had to download jzip to open it which also worked.
Now I have the manual on my desktop.
Cant beat the price. Free!

i managed to download this file in the end using the depositfiles.com link and yes it is a rar file which almost any unzipping programme will open i used winzip and it worked fine, but i was dissappointent in quality, the text is great and clear but all pics appear very grainy and not clear not that i am not ungrateful for the link.
at least all the relevant information is there

Zip Central or Ultimate Zip will both open RAR if I remember right. I forget what I use but I have both of those.

I use win rar

I converted to PDF with Win RAR. This manual does a much better job explaining the neck bearing replacement than the OEM manual.

The site isn't being used to transmit the material. It's transmitting the link to the material. There have been dozens of lawsuits against web sites (ISPs) where people were sharing illegally copied music actually on the ISP. To my recollection each lawsuit was either successfully defended or thrown out altogether. And we aren't actually hosting the file here.

P.S. I downloaded it, but I actually own a copy of the manual. To me this is like downloading an MP3 of a song I already own on CD. Might stretch the bounds of "fair use" but I'm confident enough to take that "risk."

But then again, IANAL (I Am Not A Lawyer).

You would not beleive what you can get for a Suzaki 899 Intruder manual right now. Everyone is out of them and I saw a Haynes on Ebay for $75.

Oh, I guess the policy has changed around here. I can remember the Triumph service manual in pdf being available for download and posted here, but soon was deleted by the powers that be due to copyright issues.

But then some of us were smart enough to get in on it before the link was purged. I even burned a few copies and gave them away at Dwight's Southwest Fest a couple of years ago. I still know where the files are, and just downloaded them to my laptop. It's a version 4 manual from 2004 so no 865cc info, but if it's cool to post the link I will if anybody wants it. Wouldn't want to PO the mods, so I'll wait to get approval from one of them before posting the link.

For any copyright cops around here, I own both hard copies of the Triumph manual and the Haynes manual, and I have no connection to the downloads.

Am I not looking hard enough or are they not there.

Heck, you may be right. Chapter 2, Page 16 is supposed to be "clutch". But that page shows the valve adjustment procedure.
Page 28 in the chapter is suppose to be the "transmission shaft and removal", but it covers piston installation.

Unless I'm completely misunderstanding teh TOC. Can someone with the hard-copy check this?

I already have the Triumph Workshop Manual so I thought I would download the Haynes version and compare.

When I couldn't find any pages for the clutch and transmission I started to wonder.
