Me! Today at the Massachusetts British Iron Association bike show I took first place in the 1990 - Present Triumph category.

Congratulations are also in order to Chopper Paul who took third.

Let my dying thought be that every mile was fun and let my tombstone read,"They never made one fast enough for me."

Pictures! Anything that bests one of Paul's pieces has got to be special

Here, here,

Post em both, let us be the "judge" of that. As with any ba.com survey; bribes & promissary notes are not only condoned, but encouraged.

Tim's bike looks absolutely incredible. Even better up close and personal then in his photos. I regret that I didn't get a chance to say hello to him, I asked where he was at but I think we were circling each other. I think a T-100, Black with yellow valve cover etc. took second and I think it's been posted here.
I have shown many older Meriden Triumphs at that show and wondered at what point the Hinkleys would outnumber the vintage models. While that time certainly is a ways off, it's nice to see some cool new stuff that can actually be riden safely as a mode of transportation. And while some of the crumudgeons belabored the lack of soul Tim's and my bikes supposedly suffered from they all loved Tim's paint and almost universally agreed that I was a mental defective with my 18" apes... Mission accomplished. [image]ht://tphttp://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f110/chopperpaul/?action=view&current=lowprofileseat007.jpg[/image]

Thanks for the kind words Paul! Yeah, that Bonnie with the yellow valve covers did take second. I was actually a little miffed at that, not because I didn't like the look of the bike, I actually thought it looked really good, but because everything on that bike was a dealer installed accesory from the "68" collection Triumph did a year or two ago. Nothing custom, nothing his own... Just accessories. Oh well... As for the pictures everyone's waiting on... You're gonna have to hold tight. Apparently every camera I have access to has decided not to work all at once with the exception of my cell phone. My camera just decided it was going to over expose the shots, My friend Kris's camera decided it wasn't going to hold a charge anymore... Hopefully this week I'll be able to get a hold of a camera to use, we'll see. And Charlie, the bash isn't looking too good right now. I know I have to work on Saturday and I was thinking about coming up Friday for the night but I'm might not, it's still up in the air.
