Anyone hear how well it faired this time around now that the city jacked the rally around?

2005 America, green/gray, gutted stock pipes, tall sissy bar w/ luggage rack, Saddleman's dual touring seat and Tourmaster saddlebags (and sissybar bag).

I wasn't there but I heard that it wasn't the same as years past and that the bike week as everyone new it is no more! This is second hand info from a couple people I know not from myself.

I was down there last week (Sat-Wed)...with kids and no bike. In the city of Myrtle Beach, you couldn't even tell it was bike week. No crowds, and no more bikes than you would see at a regular time. We went to Barefoot Landing one afternoon and Broadway at the Beach one evening, and didn't see more than a couple of bikes at either place. I didn't go north, but I heard there were more bikes in North Myrtle Beach and some of the areas up there. Nothing like it's been in the past though.

Avoided it completely and went to New Bern instead and had a great time at a smaller rally. Everybody was nice (including the police). Then went to the MCAS air show at Cherry Point on Sunday follow by lunch in Beaufort on the waterfront. All in all, including a few massive downpours it was a very good weekend away from the blue haired Nazi's in Myrtle Beach.
