So I added the freak and then as I was going decided I liked the look of seeing the K&N's without the cheesegraters on there. But It leaves my battery and cables exposed. Which a bike sitting in the rain like that couldn't be good-right? So I was wondering if any of you have a suggestion or cool idea how I could dress that up and protect it a little better. Ditch the battery and install points and a kickstarter.

or, don't leave your bike out in the rain but seriously, the battery box relocation looks really good if you go without all the covers

I've done about 600miles some of it in really heavy rain with the same battery location and so far its not been a problem.

So by relocation do you mean putting the battery under the seat? Or leaving it on the side like that and losing the covers from there? Or is there a secret battery relocation kit that I'm missing out on??

You could find a fully enclosed chrome battery box like I used to use on choppers. I have one on a bike downstairs but can't get close enough to get a shot of it. Custom Chrome used to sell them. Edit: I was looking through my photobucket shots and you can sort of see it here with the louvers to the front.

Great-Thanks for the input guys. I debated for a long time about moving it under the seat. I finally opted with going with the freak-literally a month ago. I think I might be able to rig it to the back guard that came with that set up. Appreciate the options you've mentioned.
