OK, my Progressive 440IAS shocks got leaky so I sent them in. Two weeks later the box arrived with a nice brand spanking new set of shocks, new hardware and obviously upgraded shocks overall. Specifically the rubber gaskets that hold the shocks to the frame are much harder then the older rubbers. I also see that the chrome is far superior too. Ohhhh, all giddy like a school girl. I haven't out them on yet, had to work and then had to go see Star Trek with Jane. Soon though, there is a huge loss riding with the stock shocks for the last 500 miles.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Have they done anything to stop the leaking problem? I hear lots of problems with progressive shocks (440's and 412's) leaking.

Had my 440s for a year, live on a forest service / rocky / ditchy road. I ride hard. Knock wood - no leaks, no complaints, not yet!

(knock on wood) I have bought two sets of used 440s and no problems thus far. (one set for my bike, the other for Karens) I think they only leak if you dont ride your bike

I've had mine on for close to 20k with no problems - but good to hear that kind of customer service is available! You get what you paid for. (which is Jones code for "Hagon sucks")

Just e-mailed Progressive for a status check on mine. I'll probably get my new set in about a week or so. Now If I can get my seat up to snuff, I'll be a happy camper.

Mine were leaking so much oil I didn't have to worry about rust. We'll see how the new ones work out.

I am fine with black too! If you get in touch with them, let me know how you make out. I was also thinking of painting mine.

Hey Staffo, I got my Hagon Nitro and Hagon progressive fork springs yesterday. The nitros look sweeeet - silver anodised. Getting them fitted on Monday. I have no idea what spring weight the nitros are - I dealt through a mate's muffler factory and got them at a discount. He advised them of my weight and bike specs. What are your settings again? I thought that would be a good starting point to match your settings and go from there.

Hi Richard, I'll send a pm but fyi the spring rating should be stamped (mine were) on the end of the SPRING itself where the it lays on the collar washer. Here's a pic which will hopefully explain

Great. How many clicks of damping do you use? Also is your 92kg with all your gear on or nekkid? I weigh 85kg but then I weighed myself with gear on and I was 95kg so I'll be riding nekkid from now on

92kg with no gear and damping mid point on 5. Probably a good idea to start up another post now if you need more info or pm me
