These fella$ make $ome really nice rear chop$ http://www.pjglassfibre.com/custom/triumph/triumph.html
I brought one of there's about 2 years ago for about £60($90 roughly todays rate), well made but about 1/2 too narrow, noticed last autumn stress marks appearing where its bolted to chrome sub frame. So brought another elsewhere, think it was a one off for roughly £20($30)perfect fit, no straining of fibreglass. The paint cost more.

Hey speedlucky, any chance you have a closer pic of the tank? I like what I'm seeing!

dave, the rear is a an Avon Venom 170. Roadworthy, Thanks. I don't have any closer pics but I've been meaning to take some more, especially since it finally got another bath and a new seat. There will be a couple close-ups of the tank in the next batch. Over the course of a few days, my fiance and I sanded it down to bare metal, taped it off for the black (no primer), rattle canned it with black and then clear over the entire tank. All of this took place during the engine re-build at my brother Hymn's place. Many thanks to Hymn, he played a huge role in getting this bike to where it is. You can view pictures of the bike and it's progression here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/28732891@N03/
