Heres my latest ideas presented in two roughly drawn pictures.

To continue the viking theme I got going on my bike I figured it would be cool to have spear heads as foot pegs. To prevent them from beeing slippery I could attach one of thoes gripping irons we swedes put under the shooes at winter. However... I bet there are rules and regulations conserning how long and pointy these pegs can be.

Another Idea is to hide the ugly oil cup in a drinkinghorn made from a bulls horn. The horn would be black. Silver threads will be wired around the top and bottom. The runes in this pictures are just random. I will figure out how to write "Sven, son of Ulf, owns me". That is the way the vikings marked their belongings. To put it in place I have to cleav it in two and drill a whole. I figured I might get it to stay fixed using som kind of glue/isolation paste. Do you folks think that the horn might be torn quickly, by road dust and sand. Horn is not that hard a material...

Last idea is about attaching a viking helmet to the bike. Exacly where I do not know, but I like the idea. Perhaps I put it over the carburettor.

Hmmmm... perhaps Im turning my bike into a roling museum here. It might be fragile and hard to clean it quickly.

+1

I was thinking the same thing. Like those skull headlights with the small lights in the eyes.

I think maybe more as a tail light helmet.

Definately as a headlight, laid down, with the headlight where the neck would be, and the face pointing up so you can see what it is. You've got some great ideas! Also really like the drinking horn idea. I never would have thought of that!

Hahahah, after a week some social workers will knock on my door, expressing their consern and good intentions hahah!!

Thank you for the feed back!
Having it as a headlight helm might end up very cool. I will have to think about it so it doesnt feel tacky, or "too much". But I think I will have to lower my headlight a bit as well. If not the helm will be to high.

I like this headlight idea

For about three years now I have been waiting to have enough time to make a mini Sutton Ho helmet as a rear brake reservoir cover. I felt that would make the fu uh ugly brake res look ok.

Mini, being a smaller or minature version of the origional. Sutton Ho helmet being the famous helmet from the Sutton Ho burial site in England. Though I've probably spelled it wrong.

Ahh, I see. Now when I google upon it I remember seeing that helm. Its beautiful. The name Sutton Hoo I had forgotten though.
Having that on the bike would look great.
