I have a reason for asking this, so consider this a benchmarking question. Here is the scenario... it's been raining ever day for 3 weeks. You can't ride so you take the time to thoroughly clean your bike. How many times does it take to repeat this process in order for it to be deemed "obsessive"?
'06 TBA - Black, AI and Snorkel removed, K&N Drop In, Gutted Stock Pipes, 145/42, 2 turns out.

Ive watched my neighbor push his Road King out of the garage on a nice sunny day, wash it, and then push it back in when it wasnt even dirty to start with.

I don't remember the last time I cleaned by BA. Maybe, I should clean her tomorrow! I ride her almost every day and she looks beautiful. She does shine up good when cleaned.

I gave mine her first bath of the year about a week and a half ago.... I forgot those spoke wheels were chrome!

I live a mile and a half out on gravel so I've convinced myself that a layer of gravel dust gives a waxlike level of protection.

I give mine a good wiping almost every day I ride it. Takes about 5 minutes.

I rode to work this morning and it's about to rain-so I'd say mine is getting washed today. My 8 yr old will wipe down my bike everytime I go out to the garage. So about every other day she cleans my paint, mirrors, windshield. I'd say that borders on obssession...I think I might have a future riding buddy

I keep my bike in "as new" condition as much as I can.Not only The paint & bright work but the working parts as well.I also have a restored El Camino That I can't stand to see dirt on......Obsessive?....yea most likely...But when she's sitting on the curb with 100 other bikes it's nice to see the Harley riders see what their missing out on.
