I like it.
Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Not sure I like all that shrouding, but everything else is very cool.

The mufflers look a lot like the ones used by Velocette.

That is a work of art. Imagine the artist/designer sitting at a dim lit desk with sheets of paper and black ink pen... a scotch in one hand and a cigarette burning in a nearby ashtray while he sketches out his newest creation. He molds design and function into a form that envelopes both grace and strength in an object of outlines over body. It is elegance and allure all rolled up in one. It is sophistication and boldness combined. It is...beautiful!

Since it's a German design, it was probably a snapps instead of Scotch, and back in the deep reaches of his mind, he probably thought that this design would get him not only a heater in his office but a water cooler too! One upping the guy who designed the opposed engine and got a coal burning heater. Of course, the "boxer" engine designer had the ABC and '28 Harley Sport to copy from.

Talk about Art Deco, that BMW is probably the poster child for the Art Deco era. It's definetly a work of art. One of the few Beemers I've seen that I like.
