I know how you all just love oil threads so I gotta toss this in and watch. Yesterday I was at local WallyWorld to buy my time tested gallons of Shell Rotella T for oil changes to mine and the Misses scooters. Low and behold they finally received their fresh shipment as the blue shirted yute promised me last week. But alas, what was this now? The price had jumped up to $24US a gallon. WTF I said to myself. Long story short, I bought two, count em two, gallons of Mobil 1 full synthetic for the same price. I figure, what the heck, I ran the rotella cause it worked and was far less then the other synthetic brands so I might as well buy the gooderer stuff if there is no price break anymore. Ok, let the thrashings begin......
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Price break??? I wish we could get it for that price. Trusty old Canadian Tire has raise Mobil 1 V Twin from $13/liter to $16 and Amsoil 20-50 went from $14 to $20/liter. ????????

Oils well that ends well. Nyuk-Nyuk-Nyuk... I still have three 5 quart jugs left of M1 15/15 "red cap" (high performance)on the shelf, which cost between $15 - 20 at Strauss Auto, depending upon when I bought it (on sale)...I planned to switch to Rotella when my stash of M1 runs out...oh well.

well, as long as we're on the topic of oil, let me say kudos to Amsoil. I couldn't find a place to buy Amsoil anywhere with in a 1 hour drive from me. I'm sure there is one or two but I couldn't find one. So anyways, I decided to order some directly from Amsoil on Wednesday morning, by Thursday afternoon my gallon of oil was sitting in front of my door. Good job to them.
