Thanks for the responses.

I came from a UJM('79 CB750) when I got my Speedmaster. Have spent close to a thousand bucks trying to get comfort and ergos right but I have to face the fact that a UJM is what I really like. Utilitarian and sporty all at once.
I get buffeted on my Speedmaster because I'm 6'4"(Hate the way a shield looks on a Triumph twin so the fly screen at least gets some pressure off the chest.) so I should be able to get over any of that with wind screen mods on the wee..
I wish I could buy one without selling my Speedmaster but maybe one day I'll get another one. Hopefully by the end of this year I'll be on a wee.
OCRider...lookin' good..wish we lived closer we could swap bikes for a few days just to see. I understand your concern about traffic....I'm lucky to live in an area where the traffic is pretty reasonable. 40-50 miles in any direction and I'm in another situation however.
ROUNDZ...My back hurts riding my Speedmaster so I can only imagine how much it would suck to have a spinal injury.
Speedmaster05...I was all set to get one of the new BMW F800GSs but after seeing some initial reports of the bugs being worked out of the new frame and engine design and taking into consideration my financial situation the wee makes alot more sense and from all I've read really seems to be very reliable....and as has been posted on those other websites there are Suzuki dealers all over and the parts are much cheaper should it need any.
This one looks sweet:
COOPZ over at
Stromtrooper.com from Australia. I think I'll get black but the dark red/maroon looks ****** good.
