I've thought about getting one.. thing is, I have this habbit, that I've done since I first started riding on the street many, many years ago, of flashing the brake lights manually when I'm stopping or slowing down. It's just a natural reaction to hit the hand brake 4 or 5 times before holding it, and I don't even realize I'm doing it most of the time. If I got a flashing bulb, I'd probably keep up with my habbit and really confuse the poor bugger.

However, I would like to wire up the running lights to act as brake lights for additional visability. I notice that is how the local motorcycle cops have their bikes setup, complete with red rear running lights instead of amber. I had thought you had to have amber by law, but I guess if the cops have 'em, they gotta be legal

Cheers,
Brad

I got mine at www.customdynamics.com. They have the bulbs for about $62, and they also have splice-in modules for about half that. The splice-in units are at http://www.customdynamics.com/signal_dynamics_back_off_brake_light_modulator.htm. I have bulbs on my Bonneville and America, and I have the splice-in Wig-Wag unit on my Trophy. All things considered, I prefer the splice-in versions. Installation is easy.

I have the Kisan TailBlazer light. The one I got is a direct replacement bulb for a standard 1157 bulb. I think I paid $55 for it at my Triumph dealer.

Soren, I had the Kisan TailBlazer light, several interations of it too. I never got it to function correctly. I know that there is nothing for me to do to get it right, but the light would not act correctly. I take it yours is functioning properly? Matter of fact I think I still have my light. Anyone want it? Oops, I should moderate myself to classifieds!
