My hat's off to Eddy at fasteddy's...This guy worked with me for almost two weeks trying to find me a set of lowering shocks...called progressive and was persistant and kept great contact with me...However we never found a lowering shock for me...I decided to go with 412's in stock height with an HD spring...However progressive did not make a HD model with a black spring....Eddy called and pulled some strings and told them my situation and Blamo I now have black 412 with black HD Springs....
Thanks Eddy!!!

Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Yes, Eddy is the man! I wanted 10.5" rear shocks in black but progressive does not make them "for our bikes" so working with Eddy we figured out that the HD sportster heavy duty shocks have the same eye, the spring rate is only 5 pounds different per spring, and the travel is .25"-ish different. A perfectly acceptable difference in my opinion. So with his help I got exactly what I was looking for. Also I needed to lower my front shocks and I already had progressive springs so I called Eddy and asked if I could get just the stuff to lower it, the answer Eddy got from progressive was, "we don't usually sell just the stuff to lower the bike with out the springs but we'll make an exception. All in all, working with Eddy has always been a great experience in my opinion.
On a great vendor side note. I wanted to get Amsoil for an up coming oil change and decided to order straight from Amsoil because I couldn't find anybody local that sold it. I placed my order first thing in the morning on the 15th, my oil was sitting in front of my door when I got home from work on the 16th. Thumbs up to them!
Let my dying thought be that every mile was fun and let my tombstone read,"They never made one fast enough for me."

I heard even with his lead undies, he can ride the dragon, get to the coast in no time, save a merchant marine captain from Somali pirates, get back to Minnesota'ish, eh, kiss his wife and send me the stuff i ordered, And all making it seem like he is just FastEddy, regular guy. That's what I heard anyways.
Ride On!

Well, I DID forget to mention earlier that he recently flew down to Arizona and while he was there he setup a whole bunch of computer stuff for some guy who's just this side of bein' TOTALLY computer illiterate.
AND, not only THAT, but while he was there he ALSO moved massive amounts of earth and rock with his BARE HANDS in order to divert the raging waters of a torrential flow!!!
And THIS was while he was on a VACATION!!!
