Hayabusa. Sure, it's kinda cool, a novelty, a conversation piece. To me it is death waiting to take my name. I figure the bike gods have only alloted one getoff on a Busa with over 300 HP. I thought I could live with the stock 165 HP but no, I wanted a basic 6 PSI intercolled turbo at 260 HP. But no, I thought I wanted more so I built the engine and now run a well tuned 12 pounds. I can't keep the wheel down even in fifth gear. I don't have the balls to try 6th gear. I now have a motorcycle that I cannot even think about taking to the tacho redline. It was a mistake. I am still alive. It's time to part company. Any offers? It's a 2005. 900 miles. My old and new Triumphs are fun to ride.

I haven't got a ticket yet but it's a night in jail waiting to happen.
I've weened it off race gas by richening up the map which cut HP a little. It will still hurt you, quickly.

I'm not a sport bike kinda guy...never have been...but she's pretty sexy looking, I have to admit...yet it scares the cr*p out of me just looking at her...death on 2 wheels, methinks. I salute your good sense in selling her off.

You should have good luck in Fla., the kids here buy bikes no license and insurance and leave the dealer. wonder later why the are in the hospital. There was a kid who bought a busa here left the dealer and crashed trying to figure how to ride it. Good Luck
