Motorcycle Mount Gives Bikers Satellite Radio XACT Communication™ & Küryakyn USA Release Satellite Radio receiver Mount for Motorcycles
New York, NY - XACT Communication, a leader in consumer electronic solutions, and motorcycle industry leader Küryakyn USA are pleased to announce the release of a satellite radio receiver mount, made specifically for recreational vehicles. Designed and distributed by Küryakyn USA, the custom fitted bracket mount will allow motorcycle, scooter and quad enthusiasts to listen to commercial-free SIRIUS Satellite Radio via an XACT Stream|jockey Plug + Play Satellite Radio Receiver, anywhere in the US.
The custom made bracket will fit most motorcycles on the market (including Harley-Davidson, Honda, BMW, Yamaha, Buell, Suzuki, Kawasaki and many more) and allows for several mounting options to provide the cleanest look and fit. Available in chrome and black, the mount bracket is not only aesthetically appealing, but functional and durable as Küryakyn USA designed the bracket to hold up to vigorous road miles and inclement weather.
Motorcyclists will have the ability to listen to SIRIUS with their XACT Stream|jockey either with FM modulation through their existing stereo or through direct helmet-headset plug-in. Küryakyn USA also provides pre-amped speakers for additional options for music listening on a recreational vehicle. With the XACT Stream|jockey satellite radio receiver, listening is not exclusively confined to the vehicle. The receiver can be easily "plugged" into the motorcycle mount, a home stereo system or one of XACT's wide assortment of satellite radio accessories including boom boxes and the Portable Pod.
XACT will demonstrate the Stream|jockey and Küryakyn USA bracket on a Harley-Davidson and custom designed Vespas at the 2005 Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas , January 6th-9th. One of these Vespas will also be given away each day of the show.
"We are extremely excited about our partnership with Küryakyn USA , " explained Mark Alford, Vice President, Strategic Business Alliance for XACT Communication. RAM Motorcycle Satellite Radio Mounts RAM Mounts has a number of motorcycle mounting choices. Probably much better pricing than the Kuryakyn. Satellite radio on the bike would be great, one of these days I'll add it to my Triumph. I have XM with a Sky-Fi2 in my Honda and love the service.

I don't leave home without my Sirus-in-a-bag. It's shown here on my old KLR but it fits just fine on the TBA and uses the optional power port on the side.

Obviously these modules can't get wet. What do you listen on, helmet speakers?

I picked up the Delphi mify. Carry it on the inside pocket of my jacket with plug in helmet speakers and the wearable antennae wire going thru my liner down my sleeve where it just clips on. Haven't lost reception yet. If it gets wet where I've got it, I'm in trouble! Also set up a plug to plug it in with a cord out of the bottom of the jacket to just above the left air cleaner. If I am out longer than the battery wants we just charge it. Vic
Have a nice day , "unless you've made other plans"
