I noticed that is says max weight 3 kg on the sticker. Does anyone actually adhere to that maximum payload?

Have been looking at some of the larger sissy bar bags but it seems pointless if i'm limited to 3 kg.

You can pack on there any thing or any weight you feel comfortable and safe with - the 3kg is just a max . figure to cover the manufacturer . Strange thing though , I've noticed that strapping a moderate load back there will cause a wobble more than a passenger of 10 times the weight .

I've been carrying my computer bag to work summers for 2 years, and it goes about 6 or 7 kg, with no problems.

NO!

if you abide but that limit, then you surely disconnect the battery with every addition of genuine triumph accessories...

Also there is stated maximum speed limit when saddlebags are mounted too. I've had a sissy bar bag loaded with clothes and thanks to the finger lakes wineries, 5 bottles of vino too. Had to limp when carrying that bag to the hotel room at night...

I took my little sticker off the rack and I've never thought about how much my bags back there weighed. I've probably exceeded the limit but usually don't carry much weight there.

I've definitely exceeded the saddlebag speed - haven't lost one yet.
