I have just signed up with a very cool new free social networking site for veterans and active duty service members. www.togetherweserved.com allows vets to input service info, assignments, awards, current status, and other details at their discretion which enables those with whom we served to network easily. The "white pages" directory is easy to use as well for looking up former buds with whom you may have lost contact over the pages of time. I've signed up, so I hope that some of you will stop by my page and drop me a line. Unfortunately, this site currently seems to allow only US Vets and active service types to sign up. I hope that this will at some point expand or someone might develop a similar site for our brothers who served in Her Majesty's forces as well. This might be an opening for someone "over there" to make some money on the venture. Cheers! JCBullen

Thanks for the heads-up Sarge. I am a life member of the MOPH, and will scope this new site out. And thanks for your service too, Bud.

Ah, great site. I signed on and promptly found a Corps riding buddy I had lost contact with 30 years ago.

To those who have served and serve, I have not served but I wanted to take this opportunity to say to every person who has served or serves a deep, hearty thank you for your selflessness. You have my utmost respect and appreciation for what you do and have done. We owe our freedom and strength to you fine people and I think you deserve to hear that.

There is one in the UK called "Forces reunited" or the various regimental associations websites.

Hey folks. I found out from another person who signed up, that I'll get credit to extend my membership if you provide my member number for the referral. It's 215417 Since I'm a cheap ba$tard , would you mind indicating me as your sponsor when you sign up? (Just if you happen to think of it.) Thanks!
