I'm going to invest in a new Multi-tool. My old Gerber is not in the best shape anymore, and I have a coupon!!

So, my question is this:
Is there one specific model that anyone has found to be more useful than any other for our Meric bikes?

Thanks.

Take a look at the Kobalt. Low middle of the price range and they have a lifetime warrantee.

Victorinox probably have the best steels for these multi-tools. What you could do is have one that has a 1/4" hex plug, and buy some metric hex tips, screwdriver tips etc...

Theres one with a locking "Vise-Grip" type tool that will be a priority for me, when I need to get a replacement.

The original leatherman has always served me well. It's more compact than most multi-tools and the quality is good. I have a Gerber that my kids gave me but it hasn't held up as well.

I have a Kershaw with Vise-Grips and I want to say Schrade has a Multi-Tool with Vice-Grips as well. The Schrade is less expensive. I personelly like Kershaw's quality. I think that they are hard to beat. Just my opinion.
