Had a read of this in the supermarket while the wife did the shopping.

http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/newsresults/mcn/2009/march/16-22/mar1709-new-mcn-march-18/

Not too bad a review really - probably a bit light and nothing that we probably didnt know anyhow.

Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"

Graham, you're right it is not that detailed but Triumph on the front page and the first four thereafter. Reasonable interview with John Bloor on page 3. Great PR for Triumph!

As for the Thunderbird it will be a massive hit - no question!

Yeah Ray, you probably DID hear that before. HOWEVER, if I'm not mistaken here, THIS TIME I think our new "chinese" friend here was sayin' that somewhat "tongue-in-cheek", AND said it while affecting a "TEXAS ACCENT"!!!

(am I right here, truthordare???)

I beleive the T-Bird will be Triumph's best selling bike once it's been out for a few years and gets a little exposure. That is as long as the press reports are right about its performance and handling. That radiator though will take some getting used to but overall its seems on the mark.

I have it on good authority that the Chinese prefer fins.

Well, if ya REALLY wanna know John...I hear they're real big on Filet-O-Fish sandwiches over there!!!

(yep...just within the city of Helsinki ALONE they eat 187% MORE of those babies per capita than even we Yanks do, believe it or not!)

Fins have finished with fins and prefer fillet-o-fish to French fries!
