Amazing. I have had some questions about my motorcycel(2008 America) and everytime I log in I find the answers I am looking for. Really cool. No need for postings, all my questions have been addressed, until now.

I installed a lightbar from Triumph about four weeks ago and it blew a fuse tonight. 5 amp. Is this going to be a constant problem and if so, what can I do to keep this from happening?

First, check your wires for any crimps or breaks. I haven't blown a fuse on mine, and I have it on every time the bike is running. Or it could have been a one time thing, replace the fuse and see if it happens again.

I may be mistaken, but I believe the light bar, aka "accessory lights" run off the #1 fuse - a 10amp.

Things may have changed from the printing of my manual to 2008, but there are only 2-5amp fuses shown: #8 - Position light, instrument illumination, and #10 - position lights.

Your lightbar may not be the problem here...

Deon's right, it needs a 10a fuse according to this

Okay, sounds good.Roadworthy thankyou for the diagram. The one inside the fusebox cover did not really explain it.
