the suspense of those videos is agonizing....maybe thats why I watch them. Its almost that time of year isnt it...deer should be showing up soon. I wonder where they go when its not riding season

My new favorite phrase is "The Grand Iowa Deer Lottery". Any driver can play, and there are absolutely NO entrance fees involved! Winning can change your life, maybe PERMANTLY SO! Everyone is doing it, and we already have a long list of WINNERS! Come to Iowa TODAY and PLAY! (Sponsored by the Iowa Dept of Natural Resources. Verificaton of a win will be handled by the your local Sheriff Dept, your county Coroner, or possibly a passing motorist. Winners are not allowed to pick up any winnings, this will be done for you by an official vehicle or State licensed rendering truck. Rules subject to change without notice, with the State of Iowa not liable for any rule infractions, indemnity, legal fees upon winning, or combination of same.)

A guy I worked with here in SC hit a deer on the way to work. I drove through the pasture to chase it down. One way or another it finally died, he got in the truck, and came to work late as he had to field dress it... Nothing like eating road kill. LOL

Well, the State claims ownership of all wildlife so they should be the ones sued.
Yes! I am a Redneck. Any Problems?

These deer encounter videos always remind me of this story I bookmarked several years ago: http://www.advrider.com/Fame/Deer.html

I learned two things from that story... 1) You CAN indeed mix brands of tires! 2) Deer poop is bad and plenty.

Karen and I saw two of those little ****** yesterday... one was crossing the street ... all the cars (about 6 or 7) were stopped and it calmly walked across. The secodn one was walking on the shoulder...I revved the spares up a bit adn got it to run back into the woods then it decided to change direction back into the road...so I brought the RPMs up to about 6000 and held it there till I saw it go in past the tree line. I know these littel boogers are dangerous to us (more so than cagers) and as long as I can spot em Im ok with sharign the world with em. I just wish there was a way to know where the hiding ones were.

I'm okay with sharing the world with them also. They can stay in the woods, and I'll stay on the road. If they can't manage that, I'll compromise. They can be put IN the ground, and I'll stay above it.
