Its a 2007 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab. Anyone have problems with these, or general maintenance advice aside from oil, brakes, and filters?

Probably better asking those kind of questions before you bite the bullet. Nice looking truck though. Enjoy!

The only problem I have with it isn't a fault of the truck. They are available in Europe with a diesel engine, but not here I would get one in an instant if I could get one with a diesel. It's a nice truck.

You might want to go to the Nissan Frontier Forum and ask that same question.

Trust me I research the bejeeses out of this before I bought it, but it never hurts to ask around. Especially, with people as mechanically inclined as the boys and (ladies) here.

It's Japanese. What do you need to know. When you turn the key it will start and when you turn the key back it will turn off. Run the thing till the wheels fall off, which will be in about 250,000 miles from know.

I had one of those just a couple years older. Mine was Navy surplus, they used it for a reconesence vehicle. I still have some parts of it but had to leave it when I move a few years ago. Tugs at my heart strings since it was my grandfathers. It still ran but not much else was any good on it anymore. Tough old truck, they have a propeller shaft under them instead of a drive shaft. Mine had the split windshield still, it was 51. 216 6cyl in mine, yours probably has the 235.

I have a 2004, supercharged. Not real happy with the mileage, but, I believed the salesman....As far as reliability, its as good as anything else I've owned.
Good luck!
