Still offering head porting at a discount price for BA members.. Now is the perfect time to get them done before ridding season is back in full swing..

I currently offer 3 stages for the Triumph guys.

#1 (or stage 1) This is our most basic of all the and a great increase for a stock cc engine ( 790 or the 865)

I cc both the intake and exhaust, after removing casting flash and bringing the exhaust to a mirror shine, with leaving the intake at a 80grit finish. Any smother then this you will loose the mix of fuel and air in the runner.. Removed all casting flash from the combustion chambers as well as polish and relieve the shorouding on the vlaves.

Regualr privce is 600.00
BA price is 325.00
Plus shipping with YOUR BOX

#2 (or stage 2)
this is our most popular porting job. We do everything as listed in the stage 1 job, and open the runners up to improve air flow at all RPM's. Reshape the short side radius, and the back wall of the intake port to increase cfm as well as velocity. We have seen improvments of 10 to 15 HP on a 790 converted to 904 with this porting job.

Regualr price 900
BA price 450.00
Plus shipping with YOUR BOX

#3 ( stage 3)

Stage 3 is more of a purpose built engine head porting.. I do not recomend this for a bike that will much street use.. With this we spend on average of 5 hours port maping the head to find the best port shapes to work with in a target RPM range.. These heads are not known for low end HP or TQ due ot the sizing of the port.. Matter of fact a stage 3 head will not start to even make power untill 5K rpm.. If you are building a race motor with your Triumph twin, call us and we can set you up a with a proven winner.

Regualr pricing 100.00 per hour of labor 10 hour minium
BA pricing 80.00 HR with a 10 hour minium

You can contact me via the board here, or send me a email. or call.

Hi Matt, what would be the turnaround time I could expect on the stage 2 porting? Thanks.

Turn around time is usualy 1.5 to 2 weeks door to door with shipping.

Stage 2 on a 790 will get you a good increase, I would venture to say about 15 to 20hp over stock.. add it to a 904 and its just gets better from there

If the carbs are jetted correctly yes.. The way the head left the factory is sad at best. Almost 1/2 the valve area is covered by castings.. Just opening this up increases CFM as well as promotes a abundance of swirl that makes horse power..

Matt's prices are AWESOME for BA.com members! You won't find a better job for the money, look around and see.
Again, I am really happy with mine.

And if anyone's wondering what the final product looks like...

Intake...

Exhaust...

And the combustion chamber...

Sorry about the crappy pictures, my cell phone camera is all I got right now bu you get the idea, great work

If you look at the intake pics, you can see all of the valve.. On a stock head you cant..

Hey Matt, I talked to you this morning about doing a polish and port, plus putting in new valve seals, but I didn'tgive you my board name so you could send me a PM on total price so I could mail a check with the head. I'll drop a PM so you can just give me the info.

Do you loose a lot of bottom end or midrange power with the 790 Stage 2 port job.

As he seems to have vacated the premises I think this thread needs to be locked. It can serve no further purpose.
