I've seen a couple of Green America's out there with brown leather and bags. I really like the look and I'm thinking about changing Hazel's seats and saddlebags to medium brown. To me it adds to the retro look but it only seems to work with Goodwood green. Any feedback or constructive comments from the membership?

Do it Ron,
It's a nice sharp look.
Don't forget the grips and maybe some leather trim peices like the shrouds, etc.

To paraphrase "Dress for Success," you can't go wrong with natural fibers and earth tones (leather and g/wood green are a natural combo).

I haven't changed my bike leather over to brown, but chaps, jacket and vest are a distressed darker brown. To quote Welcome back Kotter's Arnold Horshack - "G'head, g'head!"

Ed's (oldroadie) bike came to mind right off for me too. I love the look he has achieved. Those brown knee pads make the look. I could see brown leather on the hand grips, levers , and maybe even the fork shrouds.

Yup brown seats (the fringe is to confuse & irritate people, or maybe an homage to my cowboy days) and light brown saddle bags. Oh, dark brown jacket & pants, I sense a misdirected theme here .

I think there was a green ba, w/brown seats in British Columbia a few years ago?? If it wasn't there, I remember it like it was .

I also remember eyeballing a sharp looking metallic brown BMW R65 in the middle 70's. Couldn't afford the list price and had to settle for a British origin m/c.

Okay, I'll take the bait (can't resist a little braggin'):

The judges at last May's local bike show liked the Green/Brown combo as well; bets of class (metric cruiser) and Sheriff's pick for Best of Show.
