My speedmaster, SS pipes, AI removed, 130 mains, snorkle removed, loves the cold, runs better in winter, Well Texas winters, I only have to choke to start if it's been sitting a week or longer, which almost never happens.

that's a lot better than me. My poor old speedy has been sitting at home waiting for while I trudge around south easgt asia for the past 4 1/2. Will be good to get on her and go for a ride to anywhere. I don't care how cold sydney is...

In Old52's defense, he has an America and a Speedmaster so he has to split up his time between two! Ahhh...so many bikes, so little time...

My America is modified, but has no problem running in the cold weather. My gas mileage goes to hell in a hand basket though. The winterized gas here on the left coast is the issue.

I actually believe I had to learn what the bike likes ...
A longer warm up with the choke pulled and putting the idle just a tad higher has seemed to have helped ...
