I just changed rear brake pads and bled my brakes.I used a cheap bottle and tubes and the fluid ran through just right and I kept adding fluid to the master cylinder. The problem is I can't get a full pedal.I have done this 10 times and still the same results.Maybe something is wrong with the diapham in the cylinder? Help me guys. I've done this before and didn't have any problems. Any suggestions?

Are you using a vaccuum bleeder or manual pump action? The vaccuum bleeders work best for me. It seems like some guys have had that same problem in the past... you might do a search to see what you can come up with.. Sorry for your troubles... good luck.

Smear some grease around the threads of the bleed nipple because once you crack it open, air can be introduced. Happens to me darn near every time.
For the future, get the speed bleeders from Brent. Talking about taking all the work out of it!!

You may want to rethink that, or at least be VERY careful with it - if any of the grease is introduced into the caliper's internals it can stuff up your seals. Petrochemicals eat rubber hydralic seals.

Hey Matt, I wasn't meaning to pack the whole thing with grease! Let me restate it. Take a very small amount of grease (I use teflon) and circle the threads on the bleed nipple. Wipe it off after... I use a very small amount just to seal the threads. When I use the vacuum pump, you can see the air coming in via the threads. a little grease and this stops. Sorta a moot point as I now have the speed bleeders...

If that doesn't fix it, then you have a master cylinder or caliper problem.
