Startin' to get a litthle chilly down this way; 26°F for the ride to work this morning. Funny, I never see any swine on the road in this weather.

funny guy. Funny lookin'  Friggin 0ºF this morning. Went down to -4ºF on the way in according to the car thermometer. Hence all the yak about online gaming and such lately. Yea, I'm a firm believer in global warming, gimmee some please! Spoda be this temp all week. Thankfully I'll be on my way to Phoenix/Sandy Eggo middle of next week for a break.
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Well, I know some o' you folks here might be tempted to use this thread as an opportunity to vent about "what a joke this thing called "Global Warming" is"! Well now, I'd just like to say here that that term is a misnomer! Yep! It REALLY should be called "Global Climate Change". Yep, believe me, it should!!! AND, to prove my point here, I'm about to tell you folks what the temperature here in Los Angeles is today, on this 14th of January, 2009. Yep, we're talkin' JANUARY here, folks! Well it's juuuuuust about 80 frickin degrees outside my house here today, AND SO, I juuuust might have to take a little ride down to the beach in a few minutes in order to cool the h*ll OFF!!! (hey...I didn't use this thread to vent about "Global Warming" or EVEN "Global Climate Change" now did I???....okay, you caught me here  ...I used it to GLOAT!!!!!)  
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I wouldn't ride to work on tuesday because here in Adelaide it was 106! Thats not global warming its a furnace.

Hi Steve, your obviously a man who knows our wonderful Adelaide hills biking roads.I went for a ride up that way Sunday.The weather was a perfect 27c.My America is my return to "real" biking after the family years lull.Riding through Lobethal & Birdwood etc brought back all the happy memories of the old days.The reservoirs at Chain of Ponds were full so the backdrop was truly spectacular.Can't wait to head up there again.This time I guess I'll have to bolt the pillion pad back on and take the misses.

It's 0º here right now but there is wind so it must be colder with the wind chill. So far our schools here have a 2 hr dely in the AM, supposed it could be canceled if it doesn't warm up tomorrow. Also getting snow right now but haven't heard of what we are supposed to get if any accumulation.

I'm taking my ride for service tomorrow... its gonna be freezing cold. I hope I can make it tho.
BTW isn't this GW business the biggest hoax ever? 650 more scientists have confirmed the cooling trend but you never hear of them in the media do you?

Yep, I wish I was riding around near Birdwood, South Australia right about now. Talk about twisties!! And if you miss the turn, it can be a bit of a "small drop" before you hit ground.
But still beautiful countryside and great people there down under.
Supposed to get up near 50F here today. Starting to see more and more bikes out on the roads.

If you got tix to the Steelers Baltimore game you definitely gotta go. Cold weather or not. You can always leave at halftime if its not a good game or at the end of the first quarter if hypothermia is setting in. I remember last years playoff games in Green Bay and Foxboro, they had the reporters standing there with huge thermometers which read like zero degrees. I was in Florida where it was a cold 60 degress laughing my ****** off.

well I have you beat in this race to the bottom. It's been -35 overnight lately but I have to confess that's celsius - only -30 or so Farenheit. It gets up to -20 during the day, that's only a few degrees below 0 Farenheit.
