Derek- Welcome. Great input can be had from these fine people on this site. Send some photos of you and your new ride from Ireland. Always wanted to visit your homeland. Maybe I need to add it to my bucket list? I'll send you some photos from North Carolina's coast. Cheers!

Hi Stephen I am in Dundalk, Co.Louth. I think its a bit early for me to go riding in a pack, still learning - but getting there - want to get some miles under my butt. The name is the irish for my surname WHITE. I will take a rain cheque on your offer and hope to meet up in the future. Thanks again

No probs Derek, Dundalk is not that far away, passed through it quite a few times on route to Dublin, there are two of us going over to the Dent meet via the Larne ferry so its not exactly a pack Get some miles in so you are ready when the good weather turns up (that would be warm rain).

Let the poor bugger get his coat off afore ye all start pushing him for Dent .....let him get his bearings and cover the more important issues first .... 1) Have you any money ? 1B) Mines a pint 2) Have you got shiny Stuff ? 2B) Check out Brent and Fast Eddy 3) Are you married or just bidying up ? 3B) If so get excuses ready for complaints of neglect. 4) Do you have a good credit rating. 4B) Watch that tumble as you invest in shiny stuff. 5) Do you like Jaffa cakes ? Welcome have fun ride safe ....

Welcome Derek! If you ever start an Irish Rally, I'll be there since my ancestors are little bit Scottish and a little bit Irish.

Derek the Quay Vipers rally quite a few of us Jocks manage over. Some discussion is taking place as to making the Snakebite rally our Club event this year. I have been told that this is one of the best shows taking place any where in Europe. So mebee be over your way later this year.

Paul Irish /Scottish now thats a ****** of a combination...so you drink like a fish and would send Goliath home to get his big brother and friends before beating his ******.
Jocks and Paddies are famous for their generosity but equally as famous for thriftiness.
Only problem is once you are accepted into their company they tend not to let you go again until you have fallen down disgracefully drunk or escaped undetected.

I,m in the Quay Vipers although not that active regarding going to meetings, the rules are pretty slack. (There arn't any) I go to a few of the runs throughout the year and have been to a few of the earlier snakebite rallies.
Last time I was camping over (recomend earplugs) and packing up the next morning a young lady was asking me if I had any gear, I only had camping gear I explained.

I dont think there is a discount rate for members, as membership is free, I think last year if you ordered 10 tickets you got one free, not sure. give me a shout nearer the time, I will let you know when tickets are out. Snakebite 09

You're already a member. The easy way to post pics is upload them to host site, I use photobucket.com. From there, you click direct link for the photo. Paste the url into the ubb image box, next to all the smilies and stuff. Click image, a box shows up, paste it in,there you go.

Hey Derek...introduced myself at the top of the page. Let me explain in 'lay' terms... Get a photobucket account. Then you can upload your pictures to photobucket which will give each picture it's own web address...which is a URL. When you want to post a pic here, just start a regular post. Look at the lower portion of the page and you will see a box that says, "Instant UBB Code". Click the link that says, "Image" and a box will appear asking for a web address. Paste in the PHOTOBUCKET web address of the picture you wish to insert. It's easier than it sounds. Good luck.

Welcome from Maryland. Good move on packing riding - get comfortable with yourself on the bike and work up to it. Quote:

You're close, each photo has a direct link if you hover the mouse icon over it. Nice bike, blue/white is classic

Make sure that you paste the "direct link" from photobucket into the UBB code. I was just pulling your leg about becoming a member for photopost, that feature is actually down.
