Desert to die for.

6 pies. 8 crusts all made with lard. two apple pies with great big dollops of dairy butter, two pecan pies with real corn syrup and brown sugar, and two coconut creams/using whole milk, real eggs and shredded coconut.

Can't wait for one to open up near me! Not sure I want to spend $8 for a single burger though. I wish McDonalds still used lard for the fries, it really does make better fries.

Yep Angel. I'd say reporter Bill Geist's experience at that dining establishment was a little better overall than comedian John Penette's were at his local all-you-can-eat Chinese Buffet.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Only $8 for a burger like that ???!!!!! Don't ever visit Spain......Burger King, a normal 1/4lb burger with cheese and a small portion of fries is 7 euro's.....or about $9-50 !!!!
Kentucky Fried Chicken ?? Don't ask.....you need a bank loan to eat in there !!!!

Are people using fake corn syrup these days? Is there such a thing?

My favorite restaurant on Michagan Ave in Chicago. Good steaks, big pork chops, rotisserie broiled whole chickens, home made potato chips, and garlic mashed potatoes. If you can get a table by the window..a great view of the shoppers. Pricey, but worth it.

The "nurses" certainly don't look like the "patients".

I'd say they don't eat there.

And while I'm sure it is tasty, I won't either

Been there, done that. Was EXCELLENT (food and service) but the most expensive place I have ever been to.

fogodechao is my favorite restaurant, excellent but pricey, but I guess this is one of those instances that you get what you pay for. Go there only on special occasions. Highly recommended.
