I think I'm going to take Hazel for a spin today. If the weather looks half way decent and the roads look like they'll be mostly dry I'll go for a short ride just to keep the bike lubed up. I haven't ridden since October and I'm getting a little cabin fever and it's only December.

Went for the ride and had a great time. I saw several other bikes while I was cruising around. The roads were a little wet so I rinsed the bike off when I got back home. I'm glad I decided to take a spin.

We get a long riding season down here, but the countryside just isn't the same. Now that I'm ridin' again, I really miss the mountains in PA and the winding roads around Stowe and Lake Placid.

It was some 10 below freezing last night. I spent a good part of the day working in the shop and this afternoon it was some 15 above thawing so I went for a ride. Didn't go far because I still had some work to do.
I took Daisy (the little dog someone tossed in the back of the truck) shopping for some tools and she was really good. When she gets a little older maybe she can "help" in the shop.

yeah, well, it was 12C here today (like 55 maybe) which sounds good but it just puts a nice gloss of slick ice on top of the 8" of ice pack on my street. won't be riding any time soon.
